floyd may be a weak pressence and a weak dude for takin easy fights and talkin **** about fighters who actually took that 'step' up in class...but he's right, he retired undefeated. (retired undefeated and scared ****tless of any fighter that wasnt old or at their end.)

but atleast he'll always have nutt huggers like max kellerman and company to jerk him off.
You can't be serious. I'll give Roy all the respect in the world for fighting guys like Toney and B-Hop, but please don't try to make Tarver look like he's great. Antonio Tarver should not have been a big threat to Roy. Hell, Roy is the only fighter he's KO'd in a few years. I'm usually not one to tear one fighter down to make another look worse, but Tarver wasn't that good, Roy was just that bad (at that point in his career).

I really don't want to get into the conversation of Floyd vs. Roy because IMO they are both great and both world class fighters. However, to act like Roy took on a threat in Tarver and Floyd didn't take on a threat in DLH is probably the dumbest argument you could try to make.

I dont think its easy on his end mentally to constantly read about how much eveyrone hates him, when in his mind he feels he is much greater. I

dont think he has handled being in the spotlight too well mostly because he may feel no matter what he does it doesnt please anyone. I really do think he cares alot about what people think boxingwise otherwise he wouldnt bother saying **** like that.
      Nice thoughts, Jesus.

        Genius!

Plain and basic common sense at its finest.

Yeah. ******s will hail Fake Floyd as great even though those who know boxing knows that his resume is crap and his wins even worse. Running like a chicken for 12 rounds, hugging ala Ruiz and throwing 30 punches per round.

You would pick out the dumbest post (besides all of yours) and agree with it.

Hmmm. First its genius, then its plain and basic common sense? I guess simple thoughts (even if they're wrong) are enough to make you feel like you're a genius.

If the ESPN article was written by Dan Rafael or Brian Kenny, then I believe it. Those guys cover boxing closely. If it was another ESPN writer, then he just consolidated it from another source.

            ALSO....

I respect the fact that you will give guys the benefit of the doubt. HOWEVER....

Tim Montgomery was suspended without ever testing positive.

Sammy Sosa is PERCEIVED as a steroid user with ZERO evidence: not mentioned in canseco's book, never tested positive, still in the league and still hitting homers, denied using steroids before Congress (which McGwire did not), not implicated in BALCO or any other lab.

Marion Jones is perceived as a steroid user despite never testing positive.

Why are THOSE guys generally acknowledged as juicers, but Roy is not? Help me here.
One thing I always think of is Roy Jones Jr. is a safety first person. He doesn't drink/smoke(fear of making a mistake) and in the ring he doesn't like to get hit because he worries about his health. Now why would someone like this take steroids? Wouldn't Roy worry about it hurting his body? This is just somthing that I think of as to why I don't think Roy Jones Jr. is a juicer. I'm not saying this proves hes innocent because it doesn't. Also I once read that "I was speaking to Joe Goossen the other day, and I asked him about Roy Jones taking steroids, and he scoffed at the suggestion. He said he's known Jones for years and years, and knew he didn't take steroids. Joe is a respected trainer, and has been around the game for a long time so I take his word for it."-http://www.secondsout.com/USA/news.cfm?ccs=229&cs=19688
Once again, I'm not saying this proves he didn't take roids but this is another reason I'm skeptical about that claim. (not that everything Joe Goossen says is definitley the truth but his opinion should hold some weight considering hes been around boxing his for a while) I think the reason it doesn't get much coverage, like the other steroid cases you listed, is the fact that most don't believe Roy Jones Jr. was a life long juicer. I made a poll on here one time asking if people thought he was a cheat or he just got old. And 30 people voted that he just got old compared to two that said he was a cheat. Like I said before this is a case where you just have to go with what you want to believe. Too bad we couldn't get the definite truth some how...

mayweather is a damn joke. All these wild accusations he makes. I honestly think he is scared of hatton as much as he has been popping off at the mouth lately. Just wait as soon as Hatton beats him he will be all the pbf nuthuggers fav boxer in about a month or 2.
