First fight i saw was his tsyzu fight. He hugs way too much it might be a effective move but it is boring to watch even more boring then mayweather. Is their a reason he hold too much this?Like one of the other posters pointed out he is a good fighter but not a great fighter

Collazo is 5'9 and I think he may even be only 5'8. How is Hatton at a disadvantage when fighters do that all the time? Floyd has every fight like that but no one cares. Hatton probally walks around way heavier then Collazo. Saying Hatton can defeat anyone his own size is kind of a weird statement. What does his own size mean? Do you mean at 140 or do you mean 5'6? He walks around heavier then probally everyone at 147 so is that his own size? If he own size means 140 then I still disagree. I think Harris & Paulie could give him some trouble but mostly I think the guys who have moved up wouldve gave him a ton of trouble. Guys like Floyd, Cotto, Shane, Oscar, and so on. His height is his height. I dont consider that a huge negative because guys fight taller fighters all the time

Since January 1995 when he beat Albert Coates for an NABC title, they were multiple national champs but Ricky was the underdog - Coates was older and Ricky was moving up in weight. Coates had a nasty hook on him and Ricky had only fought guys who threw straight punches he could manuever around and get close to

I'd heard so much about this Hatton, that he was just a strong bull of a kid, and when I saw him I couldn't believe it - he wasn't just this strong lad, he was poetry in motion! At first glance, he looked poetic, his balance and anticipation. I said to myself there and then that he's something special
