Okay, I just searched all of page one looking for CJ's "****" comment and I dont see it, yet here it is quoted, very first post of page 2. Where was it posted? Did he post it then delete it with the edit option?

Once you quote someone you can edit what they say in the quote, add to it or erase from it. Technical_Skill added the "****" part to my quote.

McNulty is entitled to his opinion that Povetkin is a bum, just as I'm entitled to my opinion that he's an excellent prospect.

I also agree that Povetkin is a great looking prospect.

I would really like to see him and Dimitrenko go at it.

Not true at all, Doc. I'll be the first to praise a good boxer, regardless of where he's from. Fact of the matter is, oddly enough, that most of my favorite boxers are indeed from the Eastern bloc.

I have to agree with CJ in this respect, Tech. Nothing against you. But to me, the level of insult inferred when being called a bum is teh same as being told that someone sucks ass. In fact, "sucks ass" is, to me, worse.

I think that you might be just splitting hairs here in order to keep up the argument with CJ.

But I will admit that your mysteriously changed quote is intriguing.

I disagree, there are plenty of people on this forum who think mayweather sucks ass, but they can admit he is a good fighter.

I can agree with this only to a small degree. Mayweather certainly does "suck ass" in book. But as a human being, not as a boxer. As a boxer, he's wonderful. He's undefeated and pfp #1 for a reason.

I haven't seen the fight yet myself. I will say however, that I understand it was a dominant decision win for Povetkin. Larry Donald very recently had a fight with Nikolay Valuev that the vast majority of observers seem to think he won, and Valuev is a recent beltholder. For Povetkin to be that dominant over Donald in only his 13th pro fight is impressive in my books. I look forward to being able to see the fight and I'm sure it will end up on YouTube.

I've just started watching a handful of Povetkin fights and so far I like what I see. I haven't seen the Donald fight yet but I look forward to checking it out!

6/10 is an above average mark, thats not calling someone a bum.

Exactly...one can suck ass on a given night and not be a bum, which being a bum is a on going thing.

I would give a bum a 0/10...fyi.
