No mean as competitors. The problem with the UFC is they are a business. Like any business, once you have sucess people take notice, and hop in to steal your market share.

Showtime is in on the action, VS is in on the action, I hear a few prime time networks are about to get in on the action.

As much as you might hate the sanctioning bodies of boxing, they allow all of the different networks to get in on the same pie.

MMA is forcing every network to bake their own pie.

I know some die hard MMA fans that have stoped watching because "Its on so much I cant keep track of it."

whenever a sport gets packaged and sold to people like a mcdonalds hamburger it invariably turns into ****.

ufc is over produced. Boxing is just too fragmented but is still more entertaining to me.

I find that hard to believe. That's like me saying I've been getting laid so much that I'm tired of it so I'll just become celibate.

Missing PRIDE and not watching every event is different than stopping watching it at all.
