Maybe they are discounting the HW win because it was not for the undisputed championship...

Then again, Roy was never undisputed at 175 either, as Darius M. was the lineal champ...

One thing I will never understand.
Dariusz fought a few guys, who Roy also fought.
Dariusz did either fought em as Roy leftovers and/or did not as good as Roy did.
In his comeback he lost to Gonzalez, Roy won 12 rounds against him with several knockdowns.
If people talk about Roy's opponents, they should talk about Dariusz.

Positive thing about Dariusz was: He always came to war and his fights were always entertaining, second best light heavyweight in his time.

There lies the problem. The promoters, managers, etc are way to concerned about getting their piece of the pie rather than the good of the sport.

I'm no 'boxing is dying' guy, but if it ever does, it will be the fault of guys like that, not the fighters fault.

We shall see. Considering Arum is an absolute douche who will lie to you face to face and when caught say it doesn't matter anyway, I'm not exactly holding my breath.

Man Domain, we are always on the same page. I've just can't understand how guys like that just don't understand that if they put on these mega-fights, the money will roll in on it's own. Instead, they bicker because they are greedy. And in doing so, they rob themselves a big payday, and more importantly, they rob the fans of GREAT fights.
