I completely agree that Povetkin should fight Rahman next, for the reasons you said. But Akinwande would probably be willing, while Rahman might not be (for the same money).
Rahman is a trial horse by now, his rightful place. If not for that one punch against Lewis, we would not be talking about him now at all. He'll fight him if the offer is there, it's not like he has offers for title fight flying at him from everybody.
