What if Erik Morales and Floyd Mayweather would have fought at Super Featherweight??

Morales would put up a fight, I think he holds his own.... does he win.... who knows maybe, maybe not.
Also to the people saying chavez gets thoroughly outboxed by mayweather...
Chavez was a beast at 130, and Castillo which is a poor mans chavez (Dont get me wrong castillo was still awesome) gave floyd all he could handle twice...
Chavez was was like Castillo, only technically better, smarter, and quicker.
There would be no thouroughly outboxing anything.
If Floyd decided to spend his prime years at that weight (28-30 years old), instead of moving up, a prime and a lot more polished Floyd at 130/135, instead of 147/154, would thoroughly outbox Chavez. And if Chavez didn't have an iron chin, he would probably stop him too.Comment

I'd give the fight to Morales by UD
Mayweather backs up when a jab is coming his way and goes on the defensive when his opponent starts to go all out. He does counter though but Morales has an awesome chin and was only KO when he was old, his body was torn up from his last 15 fights ,was weight drained and fought an awesome power puncher (Pacquiao). Did I mention he was old?
And about Morales brawling and going all out and getting countered. If we were to go back in time and give DLH a piece of advise before he enters the ring with PBF what would you tell him?
Use your jab often and go all out. (that was his mistake during the fight he held back way too much)
Were also talking about Morales in his absolute prime meaning that he was fast and had great power so saying that he wont hit Mayweather that much during the fight wont be an issue.
Even if Mayweather has good defence anyone with fast hands will back him up I.E. Zab JudahComment

I agree it is technically possible... though I think the Sweat Pea fight really has no bearing because chavez was pretty much past his prime at that point.Comment

Morales ain't shot...he looked shot because Pac made him like that...Comment

You're right, I guess Chavez could of beaten Floyd fighting with one arm (torn left shoulder rotator cuff), like Castillo failed to do the first fight. Too bad Castillo only won 3 rounds in the second fight against Floyd with 2 arms. On top of that, Floyd was 23/24 years old, and his first fight at light weight, not Super Featherweight.
If Floyd decided to spend his prime years at that weight (28-30 years old), instead of moving up, a prime and a lot more polished Floyd at 130/135, instead of 147/154, would thoroughly outbox Chavez. And if Chavez didn't have an iron chin, he would probably stop him too.
Also you say castillo won 3 rounds of a highly competitive fight.... Thats good.... but like I said Chavez was a better fighter in every single aspect than Castillo. Add to that Floyd definitely did not thoroughly outbox castillo either time.
Also for future reference:
You can loose every single round of a fight yet it could still be a competitive fight..... how many rounds a fighter won or lost don't really tell the story of a fight, its the action in the ring.Comment

Give me a break man. When Pac '****d' MAB every one's telling MAB is shot but the guy actually bounced back to win belts. Just wait for the winner of Morales-Diaz...if Erik overcomes this...you and your theory will be shot to hell...
Morales ain't shot...he looked shot because Pac made him like that...Comment

^And in those 3 years who has he fought?
Pac! For 3 ****ing times...
Pac made Morales looked shot buddy...
Imagine if Erik squared with Juarez, JMM, Larios, etc.
He could've beaten them all...
But the thing is...he fought PAC 3 ****ing times...during his last 5 fights...Comment
