According to the majority of people from the not-so-bright side of the pond, Floyd is allowed to say what he wants when he wants, and none of what he says can be used against him in the future, whereas Ricky is the worst fighter since Siad Lawal if he doesn't just agree to take the fight with a 95%-5% cut, with Floyd getting choice of venue, officials, gloves etc etc.

Oscar did that to Floyd and Floyd still won. Now its Ricky's turn to make the fight.

If it's true, then why not? Floyd is the current pfp king then why wont he fight this? i don't think hes afraid of any1 @ the moment looking at his current performance. It's not how the judges scores the game it's how the fans saw the game, so let get it on . just in case, pbf could include a rematch clause to fight in vegas. imo i could care less if he can get 1 loss from refs/judge while the fans/world will see it a win for him. bottom line is we want the best of boxing to happen...

obviously it depends on the circumstances. if they agree to fight, say later this year, and then the hatton camp pulls out because they want a tune up fight, then i totally agree with you. they should have only made the offer if they are ready to fight PBF next.

on the other hand, **** happens. warren might legally force hatton to fight mbaye next, or at least delay any fight with PBF by dragging out a court case. if this happens hatton will end up fighting mbaye first just to get FW out of his hair.

Yeah, i dunno if you read my post on another thead, but i had a look around BBC forum, and there is a feeling that Hatton might take some tunes ups at 147 before this fight, totally unreilable source, nothing concrete, just saying it now incase it happens.

He can only make that money by fighting Oscar. Shane is nowhere near as big.
