    This is what floyd says

"I don't want to come off as disrespectful because I respect the things Hatton has accomplished. I respect his fan appeal, and he seems like a nice guy.

"Me and Hatton could be in Madison Square Garden, or Atlantic City, we can do it anywhere. But not Manchester. He'll body slam me, or bring in chairs if he wants, like in wrestling, and I wouldn't stand for that."

So why would anyone make him an offer to come to the UK after reading this?
    FYI -
Hatton is now one of the most wanted men in boxing with Paulie Malignaggi, the reigning IBF light-welterweight champion, insisting he is willing to fulfil Hatton's dream of topping a bill at Madison Square Garden.

The brash and popular Brooklyn stylist said: "There's no doubt in my mind that I can beat Hatton. He's just so flawed. He's so one-dimensional. Against a good fighter like Paulie Malignaggi, Hatton will be exposed.

This is true, but Hatton's legacy will suffer, but it is his head taking the beating so it is for him to decide.

Has anyone actually read the article properly. Dennis Hobson is not hattons promoter at the moment, their in talks. This could be his way of luring hatton back on his books, the offer isn't directly from ricky hattons camp.

Why does he need to beat the best P4P fighter in the sport? He doesn't need to beat him at all, there are plenty of good fights out there for Hatton if this falls through. Hatton will make plenty of money and fight some of the biggest names in boxing regardless of whether he fights Mayweather or not.

Still, Paulie got his ass kicked in by Cotto, why not fight Cotto then?

I would still be interested in the Paulie fight, but a Cotto fight would be a war. I would rather see Cotto vs. Hatton than Hatton vs. Mayweather to be honest.

And if nobody is calling out Mayweather, which I doubt, but just say the are, it is because the FEAR him. This happens when you are great.

"Ricky will fight him anywhere - that's the difference between him and Floyd, who wants it on home turf."

Same Article, Correct Quote, better source.

Ray Hatton admits mayweather wants the fight in America, he says ricky will fight him anywhere,

Why would they offer mayweather to come over and fight in the Uk, when they know he says no.

Why cant ricky Just fight in the US, Ray Says he will fight anywhere?

Yes, but Mozza, Hatton will not be known as the best P4P fighter of his generation if he continues to refuse a fight with Mayweather.

But, if he does not care and he is more about the money and his health, then so be it.

I actually think Ricky has a chance to beat Mayweather, especially now that Mayweather has been more likely to leave his back up against the ropes and just sit there, not to mention he does not punch as much as he used to. I am not sure if this is age or maybe he is just being cautious with the bigger fighters, will see.

I agree Cotto would be a good fight, a war, but as much as Floyd has fans a lot of people would like to see him get beat too! Hatton is the man that could do it...
