The fight would most likely be in the U.S, i wouldn't be suprised if Mayweather says i want $12m and in Vegas. Remember its the FIRST offer, this means the Hatton's want the fight, now they will see what Mayweather wants. It's not a offer like take it or leave it. Fight would sell 70k+ in Wembley that's why they asked first if he would come to the UK. Jesus before Hatton got slated for staying in the UK, Mayweather never has for staying in the U.S.
So why did hatton tell us he wants to fight in the US and fight the best?

You know What Hobson's offer must be bull****, Hatton is free from him now i think, so i think this may be an attempt to keep hatton with him?

Seriously, if mayweather goes to the Uk, he is beyond criticism, and i would give hatton a real chance of beating him, i give him chance anyways, but he has more chance in the UK.

If I was desparate to fight someone, as Mayweather apparently is, I would be more than happy to do it for $10M.
after reading this thread i am starting to hate hatton. im not mayweather fan but this is ridiculous. who the hell can hatton fight besides mayweather and call it a superfight??? malgnaigi? he aint nothing. hatton wont go to welterweight to fight nobody buy mayweather because he could barely handle collazo. hatton got no other options and if he does then tell me who??

you got to offer mayweather more money than that $10 million to get him to fight in manchesters hometown where they will cheat him out of a win like they did zoo. maywetaher could probably make 10 million fighting mosley or cotto and im sure the 8 million could be put on the table again for margarito. hatton should beg mayweather for the fight.

He went to America. He topped bills, he's fought in Vegas and knocked down a man who has never stayed down before.

I think he deserves a chance to fight in his own country. It's Mayweather who needs to move out of the comfort zone here to get maximum respect.

Yea it's true its a offer to keep Hatton, Hatton hasn't had a fight in the UK for ages now, HBO gave him no favour's in the U.S and after being interviewed by kellerman starting turning against them. It's a first offer, thats all it is, it doesn't matter where the fight is, it should just be made. Hobson most likely feels the fight could make more money here. If Warren is back on the case the fight would be on ITV = massive money, ITV would love that fight, they were crying when Hatton left Warren.

              That is not the point.

What is it about this concept that you cannot grasp?

Whether you agree with it or not, there's no denying that's the way boxing works.

When Floyd was trying to get the Oscar fight, he said, and I quote,

"I'll fight the mother****er in Puerto Rico, I'll fight him in Mexico, where ever, we just need to make this fight happen"

              Let's get one thing clear:

Floyd does not need Hatton. Hatton needs Floyd.

Just like Oscar did not need Floyd, Floyd needed Oscar, and you know what Floyd did about it?

He let Oscar take a 70/30 split, choose the weight class, choose the location, choose the ring size, choose the gloves, and let him pick the date.

And because Floyd did that, he is now the one in that position. Yet, all he's asking for is for the fight to take place ANYWHERE, but the UK.

You might not agree with it, but it's boxing politics.

If Hatton wants truly wants this fight as bad as he says he does, he'll make it happen.

Mosley, De La Hoya, Cotto. Hatton makes big money whether he fights Floyd or not.

True, the champ calls the shots, if Hatton wants the fight he needs to fight on Floyd's terms. Not to mention all that isht Hatton was talkin'
