Yeah but "the poster" was me and it was fairly obvious that my comment was hyperbole.

Essentially, considering some of the high-mindedness of our european counterparts on this board, im a little dissapointed that he would even come out with a response like that. Its not like the same wouldnt happen to Hatton in detroit, ****, Hatton got robbed in China, what you think would happen in say..Detroit? But thankfully here in america, we tend not to take sports as personal as europeans.

Well they don't call him "The Hitman" for nothing.

I hope you're being deliberately ironic.

OK i gotcha...so according to you Hatton would retaliate (ala Barerra) during a press conference if PBF called him a chicken or whatever...and you weren't referring to the UK crowd?

im just reading through these exciting threads cuz this would be a good match IMO....but I'm not all concentrating real hard like it's an SAT test...this forum is a affordable place to chill on a weekday when there's no fights or games on

Hmmmmm, so its about the talk now? He didn't mind the talk when the Margarito fight was gonna take place. Why not take on Mosley, Cotto or hell even Cintron who are 147 title holders instead of accepting a fight with a Jr WW?

The announcement comes just days after Hatton's title defense win over Jose Luis Castillo Saturday night and less than two months after Mayweather's win over Oscar de la Hoya May 5th. [details]
Funny that the Mayweather challenges and insults have dried up since Hatton got Mayweather's attention. Now would be the time to say I want the fight and throw some money to prove it.

Yeah I think so as well. If it makes dollars it makes sense as Floyd likes to say and the the Hatton fight is probably going to make dollars. Plus Hatton came with some good trash talk and a good performance to bring Floyd out of his so called retirement.
