It's not a rumor. Hatton probably had Hobson throw this out there. Depending on how people reacted to it, he would deny it.
Now that everyone is outraged by it, he'll deny it.
If you want proof of whether or not Hatton had him say this, then see if Hobson gets fired anytime soon. If Hatton retracts the statement AND keeps Hobson on his team, he told him to say it.

If Cintron is a bum facing PBF then Citron is a bum facing Margarito. That **** makes no difference who a fighter is facing either they are a bum or not no in between.

As it happens I don't think he is a bum but I still believe that you have to apply different standards when deciding whether somebody is "nothing" and whether somebody is the best boxer on the planet.
