Mayweather is only worth whoever he is Fighting is worth.. Mayweather didnt do over a million PPV's DLH did.... In The UK Hatton is worth more than Floyd is worth in the USA.. I dont see any reason why Hatton should not be paid as much as Floyd..

The numbers dont lie, Mayweather actually does decent numbers headlining PPV's, the judah/baldomir/gatti ppv's all did as good as anyone not named De La Hoya.

Hatton shouldnt be paid as much as floyd because floyd is the proven champion, weather you like it or not, hes the p4p king but also the king of that division, not to mention he commands the larger purse, floyd is worth at the lowest 8million a fight now. 1) HBO means everything, they decide who and maybe even where mayweather fights, because if floyd fights someone they dont want him to, he wont be fighting on HBO, lol. Now the PPV should do more money if it is in america because it would appeal more to the american auidience who are the REAL money generators when it comes to PPV sales, Selling PPV's on Santanta and Sky box office is different to selling on HBO, different auidience.

Lets be honest here, hatton cant carry a PPV on HBO because otherwise he would have been made a headliner, sure he can sell a few on sky box office, but the american auidence is where the money is, i dont think he could do numbers by himself in the US, not yet, maybe in time.

2) Floyd has money, doesnt need anymore, he doesnt need hatton, hatton cant demand a thing, floyd is more well known in the US, made more money and is a proven PPV headliner, he would NEVER come out of retirement to fight hatton unless the money is right, he said that in many interviews, if he ever comes back, it will be for big money, and there is no way hatton could ever be given 15 million when he only made 2.5 million in his last fight and has never been on US ppv.


And to answer Baya, no floyd is not worth as much as his opponent, was Baldomir worth 8 million?

Welter, Hatton is the draw in the UK in terms of Crowd Numbers and UK ppv sales, the major money will come from HBO who make money selling to the american market, which i believe is the biggest and most lucrative market in boxing, HBO PPV is where the money is at look how much money De La Hoya made on HBO PPV.

Thus overall, Mayweather is the draw wherever the fight is.
