Why is Hatton scared to fight at 147?

A). Because its not his best weight.

b). He ISNT! He SAYS that he'll fight him at that WW.

Some of you fail to notice that him suggesting a 'catch-weight' isnt a 'all or nothing' proposal.

It's just talk Mik, it's not like Floyd's team genuinely thinks all these guys are crap - If he did we wouldn't see PBF training so hard and taking every fight seriously.

Anyone who watched Judah-Cotto and wasn't impressed needs to try watching another sport or simply watch sweet pea and PBF fights on a loop.

Likewise anyone who has watched Hatton wouldn't say that he was a "bum" or a "joke". It's just trash talk, and from a group as ***********al as the Mayweather camp, it's no surprise!

147 is not mayweathers best weight. i think mayweather should fight at 140 if he can make the weight so he can beat hatton at his best. mayweater is known for ducking opponents but hatton really needs to step up and make the fight happen on mayweathers terms. he always talks about mayweather when mayweather never mentions his name so he needs to put up or shut up. you guys talk as if mayweather is a natural welterweight. he moved up just like hatton would have to. give hatton 4 or 5 months to put on some muscle and he should have no excuse to fight mayweather.

They should fight at about 145 lbs, easy enough for both guys to make, and Floyd doesn't have to drain himself at all to do that
What difference will 2 lbs. matter when both will be at least 147 the night of the fight? Sounds like Hatton will be using this as a way out of the fight he was begging for all month. lol

Weight should not be an issue, if Hatton wants to come in at 140.

I have a feeling that floyds people are gonna want the fight at 147. Hatton is gonna refuse and the fight will be called off. Or the fight will go on at 147 and Hatton loses and will use the weight as an excuse.

I'd bet right this minute, Hatton is sitting on his ass at 155+ pounds. Get out of here with that 140 lb nonsense. If he cant aggre to even 5lbs, north of 140, he and his team are full of crap and should quit challenging the p4p best in the sport.

Mayweather can easily make 140. Doesnt he always say hes the only fighter who can fight at three weight classes? I mean the guy was 148 for his fight with Oscar and he was eating cookies, drinking coffee, eating chips, etc.

Hatton doesnt dictate any proposal at all. If Hatton wasnt scared to move up to 147, he wouldnt even give himself another option like Catch Weight. You dont tell the unidisputed champion of the division what the terms are, he tells you, period.
