    Hattons Body Shot Overrated

I hear people saying this is the greatest body shot of all time just because castillo is mexican makes no since to me what does race have to with it, hatton landed to good body shots before he landed the punch that punch castillo down. The punch that bernard landed on oscar and the one cotto landed on quintana had the fighters lying on the ground in pain and doesnt come close to the that one roy jones landed on virgil hill that hand him squirming on the canvas.

Castillo just took a knee and looked like morales did in the third fight with pacman like he just couldn,t win he he kinded gave up but I dont blame him because if castillo got up he could have been serioulsy hurt because ricky was throwing the left hook to the body all night and cortez never warned him for holding and hitting but took a point away for a low blow with out warning castillo once and never looked that low in the first place, It would have knocked down a lot of fighters but hatton fans think that this was the 2001 castillo I wouldn,t say hes a shot fighters but I wouldnt be surprised if he retires after this fight. Ricky and floyd will never get the respect they deserve because people think they have never beaten elite fighter in there prime this fight needs to happen so it can be settled once and for all who the better fighter is, I am a floyd fan but I losing respect for him because its always about the money he needs to give back to the sport thats made him a millionare, If floyd doesnt fight cotto or mosley then this is the only fight that should be made and is probably the biggest money fight for floyd besides the oscar rematch because of all of ricky hattons fans.

Thats not close to being the best bodyshot of all time.

Any shot where a fighter can take 2 steps, spin around and take a knee is not the best bodyshot of all time hahahahhaha.

Who said it was the best bodyshot of all time?

Hatton is one of the best bodypunchers in the sport though.

runw/knives said it was the most impressive knockout in history and some hatton fans said it was the best body shot ever, I know hattons is one of the best bodypunchers in the sport I just think Its overrated and theres been alot of body shots that have been better and I keep hearing the body shot was so good because it was a mexican who was knock out by it.

Well I disagree with Run. Its always impressive seeing a fight stopped by a body punch. Not the best I have seen though. Cotto/Martinez, Jones/Hill, Gatti/Duran, among others.

            trinidad body shots on
            mayaorga were the best.

            but accurate shot hatton
            was. hopkins on oscar
            was the worse body shot

Yeah those were all ridiculous bodyshots. The bodyshot Gatti hit Leonard Dorin with would have stopped a mack truck.

I think Cotto actually visibly shifted Ray Martinez' entire ribcage over to the right with that bodyshot.

The Jones/Hill shot was absolutely brutal. Picturesque...

def one of the best i've seen. i mean i thought a rib popped when i heard it. very clean to the side of the body. and you know JLC was hurt. he was still on his knee like 5 min after it happend. i've never seen a person take a step back do a 360 and go to a knee. that was funny.

God it was just brutal. The expression on Martinez' face says it all.

IMO the best bodyshot in the history of boxing was Micky Ward v Agapito Sanchez.
Ive never seen a fighter react like that to a body****.
