I hate people who forget that Floyd was a stand and trade fighter before he moved up. After the Baldomir and DLh fight people say he is boring what about his other fights he loved to stand in the pocket and trade. ANyway Mayweather is great because of his speed, defense, footwork, stamina, and at lighter weights power which is still underated.

Its all very well telling people not to criticise Floyd, but when crold made extremely valid points about the belt you had your say then told him to get back to topic.

There is no point having a thread like this. it's akin to making such a thread for every fighter and a corollary for the negatives about every fighter.

Floyd was a fighter that in his whole career against top opposition only ever once looked close to losing, and cleared that up in a rematch. he fought good opposition 4 divisions above his starting weight and won. He had great defensive and offensive skills, footwork was very good, beard never looked like folding, had heart, used dirty tactics when he could, boxed cleverly at higher weights. Got out whilst on the top of the pile.
