He doesnt waste punches. He throws the best straight right in boxing period. He is so much more intelligant than people think. People were saying Oscar was the smarter fighter and I laughed. Floyd can adjust to different styles, and he never looks flustered.

Really good James Toney-esque defense if not better.

I respect his understanding of how physically damaging boxing really is.

He's the best ever at 130 IMO and if people didn't act like P4P was an actual title that can be won and lost and over analyze it to death, he would have been regarded as P4P #1 after Chico. He's the only guy ever to go lineal champ at 30 and 47 too. I thought Manny moved past him with the second Morales fight BUT based on Floyd's last three bouts (which began to redeem his tremendous waste of 2003-2005) I won't argue too much with anyone who has him #1 now. He and Manny are clearly working on a higher level than the rest of the sport right now and the only guy coming up who's fighting consistently near their level is Mikkel Kessler.

Had to put this, apparently he is the only fighter in boxing to win the WBC title in 5 different weight classes.

Also the only boxer to become a 5 weight world champion by age 30 i believe.

Considering the legitmacy conferred on the WBO, Floyd had 20 belts to choose from so 5 titles means exactly nothing in comparison to what Fitzsimmons or Armstrong did. Winning WBC belts means exactly **** to me as well; putting money in Sualiman's pocket sucks. Floyd has won 3 real titles, one of only eight guys to do so. That's more impressive to me. The chance is still there to be lineal, true champ in 4 classes and mark a first in the sport.

WBC is THE belt to win,

                      then its the IBF,

                      then WBA,

                      then the WBO (Paper title)

Thats the reason why mayweather always goes after the WBC.
