      i met him a few years ago in vegas at the PBF/castillo II and wlad/mccline card.... i dont have anything nice to say, so i wont say anything at all...

        Actually, The Chicken stuff started because Oscar wouldn't fight the Pea rematch. It existed before the first Ike fight.

          I don't agree with Katz on many things, but he is a great read.

              Very true. Katz coined that phrase when he was working for the NY Daily News. He also predicted Holyfield-Tyson II would end up in an early technical draw or something like that. I haven't always agreed with him but he's always been a solid read and, more than anyone, the one writer I grew up with.

                I thought it was Jack Newfield who wrote it for The Post in which he quoted Teddy Atlas prophesying that if things weren't going his way, he would foul to get himself disqualified.

                  I don't think Katz was that accurate but he distinctly remember him picking a technical draw or DQ early.
