now thats just ******, im suprised you've even brought that up. Castillo isn't shot the last time he lost was contraversially in one of the greatest fights ever against Corrales. Before that loss he lost to Mayweather in a rematch. Gatti has been beaten senselesss, has taken far to many shots to the head. To even compare the two fighters at there peaks, Castillo is a better fighter, if Castillo is shot we will see on Saturaday but 2 lackluster wins vs lackluster opponenant's isnt a sign of being shot.

He won both fights, one was a undefeated prospect, if he was shot he would have lost. Castillo has never got up for lesser fights, was Ray Robinson shot when 199th fight? he was but still won

"I think our opponents are comparable. I think it’s clear to see both our records, we’re both mixed in at top level really."

hatton said this in an interview, i guess they edited out all the laughs after he said it

you dumb ******* in recent time baldo has beaten clottey, gatti, judah
and he has been clearing up on the european scene.
OK he beat Clottey on a DQ, he beat Gatti who really was in pieces, and he beat fleetfooted Judah who was terrified from start to finish. Since when has "clearing up on the european scene" been anything to brag about on this forum?

Nah, mayweather is only 5'8 and he is the best fighter at 147.

Plus Hatton weighs 168 pounds+ outside the ring, 7 pound doesnt make ricky hatton a **** fighter,

Thus the reason why guys like De La Hoya and Mayweather moved up 20-30 pounds in weight class and still won titles.

i dont buy the 7 pound difference making him a different fighter, mayweather says in one of his interviews that fights arent won on weight, they are won on smarts, now in his case that may be true, im not sure if that is true in everyone elses case,

But he won the WBC Junior Middleweight title weighing in at 148 pounds lol, so im not sure how much emphasis we should place on weight.
