Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir is just silly when you had Cotto, Hatton in the weight below at the time.
Arum wouldn't put Cotto anywhere NEAR Floyd after the Gatti fight. There was no way Arum would pit his two cash cows against eachother, especially that early in Cotto's career.

You guys are forgetting 2 or 3 years ago, Cotto was just a prospect, and merely a prospect. Only now is he emerging as an elite fighter.

I'm not so sure about that. I would say the majority of the success DLH-PBF had was do to DLH's marketing team and HBO also getting behind the fight.

DLH is a PPV and marketing beast thats undeniable and thats why everyone wanted to fight him because they would make more with him than against anyone else EVEN if they took a lower percentage.

I think a few fighters would've drawn a bigger crowd had they fought DLH. Hatton (just ridiculously popular in Britain), Miguel Cotto. Even if Gatti beat Baldomir he would've probably had a bigger draw.

Some fighters are just very popular. Its not a reflection of there skill but of there image and fighting style.

            Baldomir has beaten:

            Judah
            Gatti
            Clottey

            Maussa has beaten:

            Vivian Harris.

Please give Baldomir a little more respect than that. He has beaten 2 very solid fighters and one elite fighter. And he was the lineal WW champ of the world. What has Maussa done again? Oh wait...

experianced top level fighter, hes had 2 fights at top level, Mayweather & Judah. I won't even put Gatti on there because hes shot to peices.

Still 10x better than anything Maussa has accomplished.

And the fact you can't even muster up enough logic to admit this is just hilarious.

Clottey was a DQ, Judah seriously anytime hes stepped up hes lost. I give him props for beating him, but i don't rate Judah at all.

Baldomir is as much an accidental champion as Maussa. Noone expected Maussa to beat Harris like a redheaded stepchild and noone expected Judah to run in terror for 12 rounds against Baldomir. Aside from Judah and Gatti Baldomir hasn't beaten any top fighters. Unless you include Clottey who he managed to get a gift DQ against.

In fairness to Mayweather it was an absolutely golden opportunity to nick a unified title. He would have to be a fool to not go for it.

Why are you talking in circles.

You keep reiterating the same thing over and over again, and everytime I make a point you just completely ignore it, because you know I'm right.

Bash, and degrade Baldomir's accomplishments all you want, but answer this question: What has Maussa accomplished that even puts him on the radar as Baldomir?
