The thread title was misleading. I didn't bother to look at the poll until now.
Could he beat both or give them rough fights? Anything is possible...
Would he beat them in reality? I doubt it. He has gotten WAY too much love for narrowly beating a a strange Judah and for crushing Gatti who had NO CHANCE in that fight.
Cotto has been hurt when he was hit with punches he didn't see coming. Baldomir is not fast of hand, Cotto would see everything he was throwing at him. Cotto just took about 3-4 sneaky, HARD left uppercuts to the chin from Judah in the later rounds of that fight and didn't flinch. His chin is just fine.
My comment on the Clottey fight was that it was odd (due to Clottey clearly being in control and ultimately losing because of headbutts or something to that effect). Clottey is a sound fighter like you say.
Fighters can be stopped in other ways you know. I wouldn't be surprised in the least that Cotto would stop Baldomir on cuts/swelling or just sheer punishment. He has done this to so many other tough opponents that he has faced.
