Baldomir would man-handle Hatton, but get beat closely (yet clearly) by Cotto. Baldomir is extremely under-rated. He looked sluggish against Floyd, but was never out of the fight. He man-handled Judah, crushed Gatti. He fights alot like a southpaw, but out of an orthodox stance. Lots of lead rights, right hooks. Cotto and Hatton are guys who have boxing ability, but enjoy coming forward. You cannot go forward against Baldomir. It does not work because he can hardly be backed up.

Hatton: Baldomir 117-111, or Baldomir KO 8

    Cotto: Cotto 115-113, or 116-112.

We will see what happens, im no expert on cotto because i still havent seen the judah fight,

Hatton > Baldomir for me, UD boring fight, Hatton will probably box him

Cotto and Hatton is a pickem fight for me, would lean to toward Hatton if he can box, if cotto can land to the body ill go with cotto, pickem fight, but im by no means an expert on cotto.

Cotto wide UD/TKO> baldomir, i dont care how strong baldy is, those body shots are brutal.

Um no..Baldomir is a tough dood but he lacks defense. Cotto would definitely stop him. How can any human being take those body shots and stay up. Baldomir would not be able to stay up

But Cotto would dominate him IMO. Baldy doesnt hit hard enought to hurt Cotto, and he isnt fast enough to catch him with a shot he doesnt see.
Baldomir has the best chin ive seen in a long time, I dont think anyone could KO him, and Baldomir is much bigger than Cotto so cotto would not dominate him like most think, Baldomir has good chin and stamina, I think cotto wins 8-4 in a tough fight. Similar to Cotto vs N'dou

Baldomir is I feel extremely overrated based on his unlikely victory over Judah. Other than Judah which top level fighter has he beaten? Unless you count a DQ win aganst Clottey when he was behind on all cards after 10 rounds he has fought an obviously outclassed Gatti and got beat by Mayweather.

The guy is very limited. He has an above average right hand and a head made of granite....good for him.

Cotto would outbox him up like he has done every other tough-guy opponent he has faced that refused to go away.

I think Hatton is capable of doing the same thing. Hatton likes to rough his guy up on the inside a bit more than Cotto does so I think he'd struggle there...as Baldomir would be the bigger stronger guy.

I still think Baldomir is not in either guys league. I have seen him in 3 fights now and I haven't been impressed at all. Past that I see that the guy drew with the crude Jose Luis Cruz and he had that odd fight with Clottey.

Baldomir is bigger than both of them, Has a better chin, and has good stamina, no one is knocking him down/out or stopping him. He would give both tough fights, Like collazo hurt hatton, and cotto has been hurt before so its not out of question, Torres and Judah hurt him, so Baldomir can too. Look im not saying he beats them although its not out of question but in my opinion he gives them a tough fight.

and BTW Clottey is a good fighter.

I guarantee you Baldomir can take Cotto's best shots and keep coming forward, he has a ****ing chin made of iron, he walks around 180 pounds and he eats nothing to make weight, he is a very strong welterweight, and has a very good stamina. No way Cotto stops Baldomir unless your dreaming

Baldomir is a big and tough welterwight with reasonable skills and a good level of discipline. But he's too slow on his feet and doesn't throw enough punches to beat Hatton, in fact he'd barely land a punch, and he'll be too static to make Cotto reach and make him pay. He'd take a lot of punishment from hard-hitting Cotto and Hatton would also rough him up.

And Baldomir was behind on all cards when Clottey was DQd.
