Baldomir beats both Cotto and Hatton

I cant ****ing believe how underrated this guy is, just because floyd beat him almost everyone has forgotten about him, ok he may not beat cotto and hatton but he sure can, one thing is sure cotto and hatton cant and i mean it CANT ****ING HURT Baldomir, I think he gives both of them the toughest fights of their careers, I am dead serious, people just go on boxrec and say Baldomir is light hitting, please watch some fights for once and then speak...Baldomir is one tough mofo, and IMO he beats a lot of top welterweights, size wise he has got the advantage (he walks around 175 pounds)

There is a difference between "beats" in the name of the thread and "gives a tough fight" in your poll question

I think Baldy could beat Hatton but not Cotto.

He would probably give hatton a tough fight, based on styles, but not so much with Cotto. Baldomir is pretty much destined to get outboxed by solid, better skilled fighters.

Baldy could beat Hatton with his sheer size and strength advantage.

But Cotto would dominate him IMO. Baldy doesnt hit hard enought to hurt Cotto, and he isnt fast enough to catch him with a shot he doesnt see.

he has a great chance against hatton
cotto's fight might favor cotto as they will be the same weight but if he can hurt judah he can hurt cotto and possible take him out

I can't believe how OVERRATED this guy is because he took a slim decision off Judah and brutalized a SMALLER, SHOT, AVERAGE Arturo Gatti.

The guy is very limited. He has an above average right hand and a head made of granite....good for him.

Cotto would outbox him up like he has done every other tough-guy opponent he has faced that refused to go away.

I think Hatton is capable of doing the same thing. Hatton likes to rough his guy up on the inside a bit more than Cotto does so I think he'd struggle there...as Baldomir would be the bigger stronger guy.

I still think Baldomir is not in either guys league. I have seen him in 3 fights now and I haven't been impressed at all. Past that I see that the guy drew with the crude Jose Luis Cruz and he had that odd fight with Clottey.

You said it yourself, his KO record is very poor. I agree he is a very dangerous opponent but I can't see Cotto or Hatton worrying too much about the possibility of fighting Baldomir.
