High kicks may be more powerful, but they are very risky. Unless you connect solid, you are wide open for takedowns or counter punches.

I dont know how good Foreman would have become if he had the oppertunity to try MMA. But i know one thing for sure, Foreman had the power and strenght to be able to fight MMA.

So no need to worry about foreman's punching power. opponents have already been tested with more powerful shots. even slams can be more dangerous. (especially if the opponent is spiked on the canvas though that's illegal). Randleman tried it once vs Fedor but Fed did a perfect ukemi right on time. someone else wouldve been koed or maybe paralysed.

        there's a clip of that **** here

i disagree high kicks are an amature style.. low kicks is where the power is ..
but u cant use them becuase they attack the vital points, the knee the groin and so on . that leg whip high kick is amature **** they get u offbalance and vounrable. fighters who have the powerful low kicks also have the sickingin hand power... only thing is this type of fighter cant comete in mma .. becuase they are to deadly becuase there body is aligned o strike all the vital points.. thats why mma will never take over boxing... at best they will co-exist

          response.

          "The MMA;

Too bad it did not come along when I was just starting out; it would have been just
the sport for me, as I wanted full contact.

Most of the fights I lost, were because the guys could run.

I think as the Fan base grow, other boxers will learn to except it more as an art. It
          really is a Art.

          Thanks,
          George Foreman"

I'm gonna go buy another grill LOL"
i need proof this is legit.

Your wrong, big time. Low kicks may not be able to hit the groin, but otherwise they are legal in mma. We are tought to kick either the meaty part of the thigh(to cause bruising or worse to the hamstring) or to hit just above the knee where the hamstring is thinnest.

And Domain, why do you even bother to post on mma threads? We know you hate it and you are VERY ignorant on the subject of mma anyway.

You think only 3 outa 7? I'd say more like 14 out of 7.

I actually like watching boxing and train in it. I'll admit my ground game is better than my standup, but I have no disrespect for boxing or boxers.

Where did you train BJJ and who under, if you don't mind me asking?

And I'm biased on you because I have never seen you say anything positive about mma. IMO, anyone who has legit training (in boxing or mma) respects the other as a real sport and the practitioners of it. In my experience, the ones who bash styles the most are the ones who don't train in anything.

i disagree the kicks should be straight straight equals power better defense and more efficient... this it the reason i like boxing more then mma ...mma will never be able to have the most deadly fighters.. thats why bruce lee never really fought but watched boxing all the time.. are you gonna kick somebody to the hamstring in the street? mma is entertaining at times but the best fighters can not compete.. i would rather train my self to be a deadly killin machine and still be abe to box .. then train in mma with restrictions to perfect striking
