      Yeah. It would. If any of us actually BELIEVED that PBF was retired.

      To the best of my knowledge, you don't submit "retirement" papers for boxing as you would for the NFL or MLB. So "retired" is just a word. As long as his boxing license doesn't lapse.

          But has anyone EVER done that unless the State Commission told them to? You just allow it to expire, and not renew. Nobody relinquishes it early.

              You can't simultaneously announce your "retirement" and be publicly asking Oscar for a rematch. Nahmean?

              This "retirement" is a business move that gives PBF negotiating leverage ("you want me to come out of retirement to fight you? You will have to pay me extra")
