No trainers established there. In the phillipines or Europe or the US, you'll have gyms that have existed and are ingrained into the culture. No such thing in China. Plus, most of the actual combat-oriented Kung Fu schools were wiped out by the Communists in the 1940's and 50's(only the movie-style wushu stuff exists now), eliminating any combat sport culture.
