Look at all the successful Japanese MMA fighters. There are quite a few big ones. And all they eat is fish and rice.

i don't know where you came up with such a ridiculous assumption about chinese people. why would someone chinese be considered an outcast because he chooses to box? if you're basing that statement on the ignorant, fallacious stereotype that chinese parents want to micromanage their children's lives, then you're equally ignorant. i'm chinese and i box. i'm also a student at CAL berkeley. i've been told that i should be competing, but i don't. i don't fight because i don't want brain damage, don't want to mess up my pretty face, and because i (along with most chinese) don't have the bone structure you need to be a successful boxer-- the circular ring around our eyes isn't as pronounced so our eyes aren't provided the same kind of protection blacks, whites, or latinos have. and if YOU want to get into stereotypes, chinese don't box because WE'RE SMARTER than whites, blacks, and latinos so we don't need to use our fists to make money.
