Its not about White really...its the type of people TRENDY with no soul or personality the typical types you see on mtv who are from the suburbs and try to be hip and cool on spring break.

        Seriously.

I'm tired of this **** too. I like both sports. Id rather them just do their own thing and stop mentioning each other. Unfortunately its only going to get worse with the Kimbo/Mercer fight happening.

I wanna know why the majority of people who follow ufc are Those bimbo **** star chicks and frat boys? to me thats not the right target market for mma...thats why i know dana white is about money because he marketed it to ignorant young people who wanna be bad ass and cool and Trendy.

Thats what pisses me off the most is they only know UFC and dont support MMA.

The strange thing is Boxing will never die the fans are awesome and they are regular people not trendy or followers they love there sport and will for many years...MMA doesnt have that strong a following to be honest they have 10 percent loyal fans and followers the rest are following the Trend....thats why you cant so oh ufc is killing boxing, right now it is! but whats gonna happen when you market your product to fickle fans who are trendy?

they boo at everything during a UFC fight, even rampage and dan henderson.

it goes to show the bandwagon style working i dont know but long term it wont last if dana white doesnt expand and mature the sport.

                Its a ****** f***ing argument.

The main reason it wont happen is because of money.

The secondary reason is because any sensible MMA fighter or boxer knows they will get owned outside their comfort zone: BECAUSE ITS TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STYLES OF FIGHTING!!!!!!

Asking for some kind of MMA-to-Boxing, Boxing-to-MMA crossover to prove which is the better striker is like asking a soccer player to kick a football field goal and a football kicker to get one past a goalie in order to prove who's the better kicker.

Boxing vs. MMA debates are useless, because this are two different sports.

Boxing is art of fist fighting, MMA is art of fighting.
Boxers have some great stuff that works in boxing, but would never work in MMA, and MMA fighters need to have different things that usually are never used in boxing because of takedowns, kicks etc.
This are two very different sports, and it's ****** to even compare it.

Boxing will never die, it will always have some great fans and PPV's.
While, i hate to admit it, but UFC has drunks, sluts and jerks mostly at live shows, and i'd assume in PPV audience also. There is little percentage of real MMA fans (like myself) who go to live shows or buy PPV's (i believe). There is different story in Japan, where fans are respectfull, don't booo etc.

I'm new at boxing, recently i started to follow it, and i think it's a great sport and has great athletes and fighters.

But gettin boxer in cage is ****** because he would loose badly, just like MMA fighter would get KO'ed in two rounds by championship boxer.

The UFC will NEVER pay top dollar for a boxier to fight on one of their events. You want to hear never, I said NEVER. The minute they flash money like that, all of the guys they pimp to work their shows for 3-7K a pop, while they make 40-million of the cards, will demand more money and even the guys at the top like Rampage will ask for a much fatter check.

It must kill some of those guys to see a boxing B level fighter making more money than a UFC main eventer, and a boxing main eventer making more than the entire UFC pay-per-view roster.
agree. dana is a greedy man. he is busy driving his porsche
