Floyd beat bums who are fighting even lesser fighters today. Except for Judah.
Gatti is fighting Alfonso Gomez. LMAO!
Baldomir? Old and in a retirement home. Should have been retired about 6 years ago.
Judah. Destroyed by Cotto.
De La Hoya. Old rich bastard got richer by fighting the running man. He knew this fight was no risk to him. Should stay retired.
ODLH and PBF could fight for 60 rounds and both would come out with no more than a black eye.
****ing thieves.
Sharmba Mitchell OLD.
Henry Bruseles? Who knows this motha ****a?
DeMarcus Corley, destroyed by Cotto.
Phillip N'dou? Philip and Who? Who the **** is this cat? Is this the guy that is fighting Maligf@ggi?
Victoriano Sosa, destroyed by Cotto.
Jose Luis Castillo II got owned by Floyd yes.
Jose Luis Castillo 1 Beat Mayweather but they gave the fight to the little monkey.
This legacy is a joke.
Where are the Haglers? The Hearns? The Durans? on Floyds record?
Did Floyd unify anything?
What division did he clean up?
Pound for Pound?
**** me.Comment

Alot of opinions and theories on what makes a fighter "P4P All Time Great", but some have been hit on by many people for the last couple of years. And much of it's true.
Mayweather, while being one of the most gifted, talented, and ring-smart fighters in the last 30 years, has probably let his business-smarts get the better of him. He hasn't had any real wars in the ring like almost every other all-time great has, for fear of his future, and worry over losing that "0".
Sugar Ray Leonard, for example. Every bit as physically capable as Mayweather, probably more so, but he never let his desire to make a buck and protect his reputation at all costs get in the way of giving the fans a spectacular fight. Where Leonard would stand toe-to-toe and trade with the likes of Hearns, Meaweather would've stayed on his bicycle, thrown enough lightning quick (but undamaging) punches to make the judges feel they were obligated to give him the majority of the rounds and won the fight, while the fans lost, just like they did when he was in the ring against
Oscar.
In the end, Mayweather has what he was after, I guess. An assload of money, more than he could ever spend, a (mostly) deserved undefeated record, and retirement while he's still pretty and has most of his brains. What he never gave a **** about are the boxing fans, and I suppose that's why they got what they did....nothing. Not a goddamned thing worth remembering, anyway.
In another 20 years, I'll still remember vividly the night Sugar Ray Leonard stood right the **** in front of, and KO'd Tommy Hearns, a guy much larger than him and the heavy favorite to win, after getting rocked and pounded by punches that should've had him on the canvas multiple times. I can still see most of that last round in my mind.
I doubt I'll even remember Mayweather's first name, much less recall any of the specifics of even his more "exciting" fights like that with Oscar (who himself has truly had some wars, and has given me, a boxing fan, every penny I've paid him right back to me in my enjoyment of his fights). All I'll remember about Mayweather is that he didn't give a **** about giving the fans, the ones who made him ****** rich, their money's worth. I'll remember that he was all about the money, and nothing else.Comment

CASTILLO, CORRALES, JUDAH
are you serious? Castillo is not in his prime come on? Corrales yes he destroyed him but who wouldn't, Corrales was more heart than he was talent. Judah yes was in his prime but a basket case of lose screws. stronger, possibly faster then mayweather but where is his head. For the first time I seen Judah fight with heart and actually used his head somewhat. That impressed me. Like I said in another post Judah would have probably beat anyone else on sat night. Im not even a judah fan..
But saying that Cotto would walk right throw Castillo and Corrales..Comment

No need to get mad just stating the facts. James Toney is one of my favorite fighters so don't insult him by comparing his resume with Mayweathers'Comment
