I'll say it was a lil premature only because Zab was able to hurt Cotto with one power punch, so you never know if Zab could've landed one miracle shot n turned the tide, what if the ref would've stoped the Castillo Diego fight after Diego was knocked down the second time? You can argue the ref shouldve stoped it there, but didnt and you know what happend next. But for some reason the ref really likes Zab, I think I heard him tell him I like you to much to get hurt, something like that. Did anyone else notice that?

Zab was finished. He was getting pounded and didn't have the energy to respond with anything that resembled a punch. It was a good stoppage. If he let Zab continue, he'd have been KO'd later in the round.

Yeah the ref did a good job and saved Judah from some unnecessary punishment and possible humiliation (the comeback of the chiken dance maybe). Good stopagge although as a fan of Cotto I would've liked for the fight to continue. Zab got a lot of respect from me cause of this fight. I never expected Zab to show heart and smarts and he did both tonight. He took a knee when he had to, one of the smartest boxing move in his career. He fought on when getting bombarded with heavy punches.

Corrales was actually fighting back, even after the 2nd KD...not one shot hail marys, but still throwing combos, still being COMPETITIVE.

It wasnt a good stoppage, but Judah was exhausted. He didnt have it in him to land the big one.

......At first I thought it was a little early. However, when I saw it in slow motion Zab was literaly cowering away and almost completely turning his head. Add the overall brutal beating the he had received, and it was a very good stoppage. Zab didn't mind it at all either. The ref saved him further damage for sure.
