It was a bad stoppage because he didnt give judah enough time to show he couldnt defend himself anymore however i think if he hadnt stopped it Judah was just going to land on the canvas a few times more or worse be knocked out cold.

I rather see a fighter get knocked out then see early stoppages, this is boxing, so let the man get knocked, fights are getting stopped too early in today's boxing, this is not good for boxing.

It was a good stoppage form Mercante jr. If it started to drag on it could have taken alot out of Zab in terms of a fighters health and future. I am so pleased to see a just stoppage in a fight that both fighters showed courage and grace. A fantastic night for boxing!

yeah, we need more fighters like leavander johnson. let them keep going until their counted out. let them get knocked. its not like anyone can die from boxing, jeez.
