Yes, I've watched several of his fights on YouTube and I'm impressed with the speed and accuracy of his punches. But I still think it will be a difficult fight for him, because Bika is tough as nails and a smart fighter. Sakio gave Calzaghe a difficult night, throwing him off his usual fighting style and making him struggle to win.

Bute is a dirty word in our house as my wife is romanian and he turned his back on his country so easily , Bika is a dirty fighter but should be a good show

Bika is tough, i dont see anybody having an easy nights work against him but i would lean towards Bute by ud.I think the difference between the 2 will be workrate.Should be a hard fought battle though.

Interesting matchup. I'm reserving my vote, as I don't know enough. I'll hope for Bute, though, as Bika has already had his shot. If Bute can go on to pick up the IBF paper title (which is meaningless b/c Calzaghe won it), the it will set up a good fight next year.

It's on espn friday night fights? I was expecting it to be on hbo... People said Bika was robbed against sam soliman, I didn't see that fight. So, has Bika only really lose one time and thats really to calzaghe? This fights going to be tough and a fun one to watch, surprised espn is getting it. It's a larger fight then what is expected to be shown on espn.

Well, if Lucian Bute wins this, he'll be considered a top level contender, and so I bet we'll see him on HBO before too long! He's well liked by his Quebec fans, including a female following, and has the potential to attain widespread popularity.
