yep. If he wins that means he is the real deal and ready for the big belts.

I doubt it will be Berrio holding the IBF belt, when time comes for the mandatory challenger. The Germans seem keen on passing the belt to one of their other, and stronger, smw's.

There's a interesting fight on the undercard that will likely be televised as well: heavyweight Jean Francois Bergeron 26-0, who is scheduled to fight Valuev in September, vs. Domonic Jenkins, who has won his last three fights by early KO or TKO.

Pascal was impressive once again, I heard. Some people think he may be a future boxing superstar.

It all depends on how Bute handles pressure. He has never faced anybody of Bika's calibre, so it is hard to foresee how he is going to react. One thing we know is that Bute has the size advantage. As to whether he can use it to impose his will on Bika is another matter. Should be obvious to anybody what Bika's strategy will be, he will pressure Bute and try to run him out of gas. Bika also has the habit of fighting dirty, which in and of itself might throw Bute off his game. Has Bute corrected the flaws in his style which have been a problem in the past? We are going to find out next week.

Yes, this fight against the difficult and tough Sakio Bika will be the ideal test so we'll have answers to those questions. We'll know whether Lucian Bute can compete with the best at super middleweight, namely Kessler, Calzaghe, Berrio, Froch, and Inkin.

If he wins this, he will become the mandatory for IBF champ Berrio.

Wow, this fight is gonna be damn good. As much as I would love to see Bika win, I thought Bute is too skilled. Bute by close, but clear, descision. 116-112 type scoring for Bute in a good fight I bet.
