We'll have to wait until fight night to see the size difference. The true size difference that is. Cotto can balloon up pretty big overnight and easily take the upperhand. Of course he doesn't wanna be sluggish or slow against a guy like Zab so it would be at a disadvantage for him to do that in this fight. While I agree with all the talk about hard to catch Zab, let's agree on that for about 4 rounds or so. The Zab will slow down. Once Zab slows down, it's all downhill. Body shots will be tearing into him, constant pressure, and power that'll break him apart afew rounds later.
Judah vs Cotto - My Take On It

Soundtraveler, theres one really good point you made that I didn't think of. Cotto doesn't exactly have the best chin either, I remember like you said when Corley had him hurt. And Zab is fast plus he has his back against the wall. I'm still picking Cotto but your analysis got me thinking.
I think the speed and the reach is going to play a major factor in the fight. And yes, Judah has everything to lose, that makes "any" fighter more dangerous - but when you have a "World Class Fighter" with his back against the wall, then - we have a problem Houston! Once again, after looking at the weigh in pics, Cotto really looks dried up, too much so, and I suspect he has overtrained for this fight....Comment

He did not say that Cotto would take Zab out, he said Cotto would bring it home late, and I think it won't go past 6, so we will see who is right tomorrow night!
But, Teddy didn't get to see the weigh in pics either, he was traveling to the great white north, if he saw those pics he may have changed his mind!Comment

Or maybe he focused more on speed? Thats the first thing I thought when I saw him, maybe he wants be lighter figuring that will make him faster.I think the speed and the reach is going to play a major factor in the fight. We will have to wait and see, and I am really looking forward to this one! I still think Cotto looks bone dry, and that is NEVER a good thing.Comment

I don't think the body shots will come into play, I think Judah will use his reach advantage and catch Cotto trying to come in, my guess is that an uppercut will end this one, Zab is a bit taller, and obviously he has enough power to take out Cotto. We'll have to wait until fight night to see the size difference. Hell, Zab knocked out Spinks, but Taylor couldn't do it. (I usually don't cross reference fights, but in this case I will as an example) So "power" is not particularly in favor of Cotto in this one...Comment
