But 14 days before Warren accepted the 5mill. "offer", Warren ran from the same offer in the UK... He's no angel.
They have been saying lots of **** in both camps, and both have threatend with other fights.

If Kessler's team don't get their acts together within the next couple of weeks, Calzaghe will have little choice but to take another fight. You can't seriously expect someone who has set themself a timeline of 18 months before retirement to wait another few months so Palle can have his ****ing birthday party.
Kessler should ditch Palle with immediate effect if he's unable to represent him properly. You can say what you want about Warren (and he is an odious little man) but he's nowhere near this unprofessional.Comment

first we heard the fight was made for september, and apparently rumours about palle wanting it in nowember.. actually no specific date has been mentioned e so far, so it the difference in a september to november fight could be as small as one week..Comment

What offer was made for 5 million? Warren himself admitted the sums didn't add up for that in the UK. The only offer mentioned by Palle (or mentioned publicly for that matter) was the $3m plus half the gate. An offer I should add that only a fool would have turned down for, effectively, an unproven contender.
Palle on the other hand posted publicly an open offer for $5m net from September onwards in Copenhagen. This has now been accepted for September by Calzaghe/Warren. Clear terms and clear acceptance. You would think that if this was a genuine offer, and not some feeble attempt to garner some publicity for his fighter by using Calzaghe's name, Palle would have jumped at the chance for this to happen. Sadly nothing seems to be happening, for whatever reason..
Palle makes the rest of the corrupt promoters in the sport look like bastions of professionalism. He should be drummed out of the sport at the earliest opportunity.Comment
