      LMAO!!!!!... that's sooo funny... I like the way neither fighter wanted to quit.. and I am sure I saw the ICEMAN throw the 1st shot after the fight had been called...

      That was also a CRACKING uppercut.. I whinced..

        HAHA I saw that back in the day and thought it was a classic. Thanks iceman. Great commentary on the holy fight as well.

            No, no. I hit Joey with a four punch combination right before the bell...when the bell rang I turned away and he hit me on the side of the head..I looked back at him and then kept walking away.....then he came towards me and we got into along the ropes. He definitely instigated it.

              I was watching this footage of John Scully sparring with Roy Jones Jr (not sure if he as pro then) I thought Scully really took it to Jones, was brutalizing Roy in close and against the ropes, he applied lots of pressure and really never let Roy get distance, feeding him a constant barrage of ribroasters among other punishment. I could have sworn I saw Ray Leonard there at ringside as well, not sure.. Either way I saw the footage right around when Roy was decimating guys like Glen Kelly, so my reaction was

                That **** is crazy. It just turned into another boxing match. The ref should have just been like **** it and let you two have another fight.

                    U are correct, that was Sugar ray Leonard sitting next to the ring while we sparred....... I assume you didn't realize it, though, but sitting next to Ray in that clip was Gerald McClellan.
