Did it occur to any of the Hatton bashers that maybe Hatton is talking about Mayweather alot because he is being asked about him alot? It is not as if Ricky Hatton issues a weekly press release saying he wants to fight Mayweather, he is merely responding to questions that are put to him.

He is being asked questions because the UK press wants to know when he is gonna stop talking about fighting mayweather, and acutally fight him, instead of pricing himself out, then lying to the british press by implying mayweather ducked him.

The fight has never been that close to being made and from what I hear Mayweather's camp were reluctant to take the fight because "they didn't feel there was enough interest in the fight".

I have seen that but what that quote doesn't give is any context. I am 90% sure that a fight was never realistically close to taking place and that was caused by reluctance on both sides.
