Someone please explain why Hatton left 147 and went down in weight?

Its not that complicated. Hatton is 5'6, and he is a pressure fighter. He has no chance in the Welterweight division with that syle and being so small. He could probably easily make Lightweight if he managed his weight between fights.

Cotto moved up in weight because he physically ill from making weight. He looked dead at the weigh ins. Besides Hatton did actually move up and beat a titlist. That has to count for something, and dont give me that Collazo got robbed ****. Just because Hatton had a bad 12th round doesnt erase the 11 other rounds.

Some people need to realise that Hatton isnt finished his career yet. He has said that he'll likely move back up again and he probably will. If he moves up and beats any top fighter at WW, all this crap about him 'running back down' to LWW will be entirely forgotten.
