Ruslan Chagaev is from an Asian country, he's not an "East European"

Technically true, but its all the old soviet block, I have a friend from Ukraine who still refers to the whole thing as Russia (though I think its mostly to assist Americans with their deficiency in Geography). So in a way they're all kinda from the same system, I would think that they're probably ethnicly slavic as well.

But if they really are as bad as you say, don't you think that some American boxer would take advantage of the situation by now? C'mon, there's many thousands of young American boxers in the big cities in America...isn't there at least one good enough to beat these titleholders? What is wrong?

If you're right about Chagaev, Ibragimov, Maskaev and Klitschko being so bad, then all those thousands of American boxers must really suck.

But, I don't think they're really so bad! I think no American has a title because those Eastern guys are actually very good.

Yeah, they're definatly a bit underrated, they deserve more credit than they get. Klit. is good except for the glass jaw and Chagaev seems to be pretty damn good.

These guys are all very vulnerable guys. I just can't see them being champions for very long. Hopefully we will see some exciting match-ups.
