Boxing is far more popular in the US, has a greater pool of potential talent to choose from considering it's population is nearly 6 times that of the UK. there is no excuse for it NOT to be the USA. Although, Hatton and Calzaghe would own any American in their respective divisions.

The BRITISH started BOXING....but the US has better fighters through history they had more champions and gold medals.
