Oscar De La Hoya - he sounds as American as Apple Pie.

Seriously, a country founded and created wholly from immigrants can't start questioning the ethnicity of British fighters. We could be here all day.

You wanna check Lewis's passport.. cos he's got a British one. If he calls himself British thats fine with me and it should be fine with you, if you had any sense.

It depends what context it's in. The US has better fighters overall, no one is dis*****g that, but in terms of per-capita the UK is ahead.

Where did he learn to fight? British citizen does not equal British fighter...

Well if I decided to train in another country and was then told I couldn't represent my country because I trained somewhere else, I would find that very strange indeed.

But most likely we're talking about all together. And all together its the U.S easily. Whos the best British champ ever? Lennox? If so Ali ****s on him in being a better fighter to me.

By your standards, Antonio Margarito is an American fighter. He was born in California...

In that case, the state of Michigan is better than the UK (per-capita). You can go all day interpreting things the way you want, but as whole countries the USA has superior boxers.

We're talking about two countries though. Anyway, this debate is going nowhere. It's a silly subject and it looks like most people can't have a debate without acting like 8 year-olds.
