Exactly how does getting one Magazine statistic wrong in an argument where it is utterly negligible and insignificant lead in ANYWAY whatsoever to having 'no boxing knowledge'. TS only picks up on that one point because he realises that the rest of his argument is ridiculously pap and is trying to salvage whatever small win he can get from the situation.

But Lacy was supposedly the best supermiddle in the world and favourite to beat Joe and that makes it more impressive. It was supposed to be competive, but wasnt anywhere near. Lacy is an average boxer in peoples opinions now, but befor Joe exposed him, noone had ever made Lacy look bad. Even if people try and make out that he was overrated. Lacy was overrated but there was noone good enough to beat Lacy, until Joe.
As for Gatti. Lots of people before PBF had made Gatti not look good. And if PBF was as good as people said he was. What happened to Gatti cant really have suprised anyone.

My point is that everyone makes mistakes, so let's not start threads over it or say they have "no boxing knowledge"

Picking someone to win a fight and claiming that one fighter was ranked at number 1 p4p are very different things.
Many fights are difficult to predict and the outcome is unknown, but when you talk about who was ranked where, its fact, and he was wrong.
its very simple.

Simply put, Lacy is not better than the people PBF has fought. But the way in which JOe handled Lacy was as impressive as anything PBF has ever done against his opponents. And i wouldnt put his destruction of Gatti on the same level. Again, if Joe were to beat Hopkins at light heavy and JT and kessler there wouldnt be anything left for Joe to do. Nothing more he could achieve. Those achievements would fare well against anything anyone else has achieved. But it is a big if he can beat those guys?

Floyds absolute destruction of Gatti and 6th round stoppage was more impressive to me than Joe winning a decision against Lacy.
Add in Floyds 10th round (5kd, winning every round) fight against Deigo Corrales, the Undefeated Lightweight champion rated #5 p4p by the ring magazine and we dont really have a contest.
Corrales was a proven great and a HOF candidate.
Lacy was, and is not.

What about Parody posting that I'd picked DLH to KO Mayweather, when in fact I'd picked Mayweather to win by decision? I agree it's not so bad to make a mistake in picking the wrong boxer to win, but it's not fair for him to post that I predicted the wrong outcome, when in fact on $iN's poll on Apr 27 I picked Mayweather to win.

If you like Boxing clinics, its mayweather gatti for me though,

Mayweather nearly got arrested for attempted murder after that fight,

Apparently after the fight mayweather got in his car and was chased by police oj-simpson style for what he did to gatti,

Think he got off though on grounds of self defence, such is the law these days.

Taylor was not even ranked after beating Hopkins twice. Then after a draw with Wright they put him at like 4 or 5. The Ring is a joke ever since they named Vitali the Heavyweight Champion (which is against their policy).
