Oh of course, I couldnt belive mik was cussing me out like that over something that was so obviously wrong, i just needed conformation from some of the many knowledgeable boxing fans on here, and within about 3 mins, we knew who was wrong and who was right,

    The beauty of boxingscene.
Its Confirmation not Conformation! You dont know **** about boxing! Correct your spellings immediately!

If anything I've posted has implied that someone is ****** then I'm truly sorry.

Before stating that someone made an incorrect prediction on a poll, it's always better to go back and check what their prediction actually was.

Mine was: Mayweather wins over DLH by decision. (I voted on the poll on a thread created by $iN on Apr 27).

I was 'cussing you out' because of your dunderheaded refusal to debate the actual point at hand. You focus on the details (to the point where you start a thread about 'the details) because you are completely avoiding to admit that your argument, your point...was utterly and dismally incorrect.

I posted a breakdown of the argument in the other thread and you STILL failed to back it up in any way shape or form, instead focusing with tunnel vision on this mistake I made that had NOTHING to do with the argument at hand. A mistake I have no problems whatsoever admitting that I made and that I am absolutely fine with having made...because its irrelevant to the debate we were having:

The argument never has been or will be about Taylor's placement. It is thus:

"COULD you argue that Calzaghe defeating Taylor and Hopkins would mean that he has defeated two fighters better than anyone Floyd Mayweather has fought?"

                Mik - Yes, you COULD.

Technical_Skill - No. That is utterly inarguable. To argue that would be to claim that Calzaghe is the better boxer than Floyd. Has better skills than Floyd. Has a better legacy than Floyd. Is a greater all-time fighter than Floyd and has accomplished more in his career than Floyd has.

Havent had anytime to read all posts. But what has been said? If JOe could beat HOpkins and JT would that mean he has beaten better people than PBF has? I would say yes. JT and Hopkins are top rated boys now.
Doesnt mean to say he is more talented than PBF. But i would agree that beating 2 guys like Hopkins and JT would impress me a lot.
PBF beating DLH was a great achievement. But DLHs credentials at this stage of his career were questioned way before PBF got to him.

I cant find conformation anywhere, was Taylor p4p number one in ring magazine after he beat hopkins?
Miksterious, you're a bigger joke than Hatton and Calzaghe combined. You are almost up to JD1986's status as the biggest joke on BoxingScene. It's obvious you know nothing about what happens in boxing outside of your country. You were clearly trying to overhype Taylor so you could gloat just in case Calzaghe fought and beat Taylor, much like you've mentioned that Tsyzu was #1 P4P when he fought Hatton due to that dominating victory over Sharmba Mitchell.

He beat Lacy. He doesn't need to fight any other decent fighters for the rest of his career...
