You're using logic when in sports there is no such thing. Just because Fighter A beat Fighter B and Fighter B beat Fighter C, then does that means Fighter A would beat Fighter C? I'm going to use the most overused statement in combat sports and that is "Styles Makes Fights." Also it's not like Clottey is going to prepare for Mayweather the same way he prepared for Margarito or Corales.
You can't use the exact physical state of a boxer from past fights and imagine him in the ring with PBF, because they won't be in that exact physical and mental state. It's like the difference of preparing for a spelling test and preparing for an SAT. Just because you didn't prepare well and did bad on the spelling test doesn't mean you're gonna ultimately do bad on the SATs (unless you're completely ******) as long as you prepare well enough.
