Floyd vs Clottey

I think this is an underated matchup for Floyd. Clotty has a very tight defense, has a solid chin, has great power, puts nice combinations together, etc. Clotty's only 2 losses came against Baldomir and Margarito. Clotty was clearly dominating Baldo b4 he was dq'd, and was also beating Margo b4 he claimed he hurt his hand. Anybody else think that Clotty gives Floyd fits, and probably comes out victorious in this matchup?

i wondered the same....i think clottey is faster and has if not more, matches flloyds power! i do think hes still a lil young, but if they fought i would bet at least 2 g on clottey....i think he puts on the preformace of the century and knocks fllyod out!

Matches Floyd's power?? Clottey has WAAAY more power than Floyd, and packs a much bigger punch. I wouldnt be suprised if Clotty stops Floyd in that fight.

That's the guy who would beat Floy or who I'd atleast bet on. Way more power than Mayweather. His defense is underrated and his speed is pretty good. One of my favorite fighters.

clottey would make foyd look bad till he gets complacent and satrts just defending....i mean clottey's worst opponent is himself, because after 4 or 5 roounds the guy goes to the shell and stops moving his hands, giving someone like floyd, or margarito the oportunity to outwork him from middle range.....

i still would bet my money on clottey against any 147 pounder in the world...

clottey is my favourite welter, i hate margarito and i know clottey broke his hands but i could still see a chance for margarito if they fight again because clottey simply thorws less each round that passes..... eeven in the chico fight after 4 rounds, he stopeed throwing like he did in the first 4 rounds, thats why he didnt ko chico................


clottey imo beats everyone at welter, but i think the way to beat him is outworking him....
