Has anyone been aware of a "fixed" fight in boxing??

Has any fight been proven to have been "fixed"?? I seen alot of tyson fights in my day (Bruce Seldon) and it would be unbelievable if nobody admitted to taking a dive... List other fights that you think may have been "fixed" or you thought someone took a dive...

Felix Sturm won that fight and lost due to politics IMO. Wasn't that the fight before BHOP?? If so that explains it.

there was an italian heavyweight named richie melito who was proven to have several of his fights fixed back in the 90's..

he didnt even know they were fixed himself it was all being done by his manager in hopes of getting him a big fight that so that he could bet the house on the other guy....

well he got him a fight with bert cooper and cooper smoked his ass with a brutal knockout.... it wass revelaed after the fact that the fights were fixed after one of his early opponents spoke up about it and released phone conversation tapes incriminating the manager

Jake LaMotta testified that he threw the Billy Fox fight for money and a future title shot.

          Others that may have been:

          Fireman Jim Flynn-Jack Dempsey?
          Terry McGovern-Joe Gans?
          Lulu Perez-Willie Pep?

                  Oscar and B-HOP shouts fixed.

They turn into business partners 2 weeks later.

                  WTF?

A buddy of mine used to manage a sports bar. This was around the time Seldon took the dive against Tyson. Who could blame him? He pocketed a few million and decided it wasn't worth getting beat up over.
Anyway, the sports bar had all this quirky names for their dishes. They called their fish and chips "the big dive", we jokingly renamed it the Bruce Seldon.
