It's funny how some boxing fans are making a big deal out of how short the UFC main event was. The fact is it doesn't matter because apparently the undercard was still a blast to watch.

I still don't care to watch UFC (although i did like pride) but I think it is pathetic to try and use that main event as an example. Its just as pathetic as an mma fan using the "oscar vs mayweather" fight to some up all of boxing. I am a boxing fan, and even I can see how insecure some people are.

this is a boxing forum. When boxing fans see two grapplers trying to box each other and looking basically like ****, theyre obviously going to think mma fighters have no talent. Their real talent is on the ground, but then not a lot of people are into that.

Most UFC fans dont buy UFC events for the grappling, they pay to see two white guys 'duke it out'. Thats why they were booing Quinton Jackson, because they just want to see their favorite fighters win.

Just like the WWE, but being UFC champ isnt anything more special than being WWE champ. All of the people you are fighting are employees of Zuffa ,LLC. Boxers arn't employees of the WBC or the IBF or the WBA.

Yes, they got their money's worth. They got Liddell/Jackson 2. They got Jardine/Alexander, Thomas/Stephens, Starnes/Leben, Karo/Burkman. They even got Golveia/Carmello.

They got quality and quantity. All fights were exciting and well received.

Now please...do some research before your next post. You're sounding like a broken record.

I thought the Karo/Burkman fight ****** and that ****ing screwball Thomas got lucky with a quick stoppage to act like a ****ing idiot like that after he won, but i'm not going to blast the whole ufc i do like to watch some of their events but they will never be bigger than boxing. they have alot of fights where the fighters are rolling on the mat dead tired to fight anymore and have to tap the guy out with a arm bar or some ****.

I hate Dana too. He seems so insecure about boxing. He always has to bring it up in a negative light in order to bring UFC up. That's gay. He's gay and all those jujitso fighters are gay. Why don;t you ****ing mention Barrera vs Marquez. Has there been a better fight in the history of UFC, hell no, and that's not even a top 200 fight in the history of boxing. Truth is they get more bloody and less damaging knockouts cause of the small gloves and they think they are real. They are real until they get hit once or twice and then they wanna do monkey sex.
