His hands are his only real weakness. Subpar as in below power is very opinionated and not fact. Fact is all these bigger fighters have either been unable to or reluctant to walk over or thru his weak punches. That makes me conclude which is opinion is that his punches are not that weak and he hits harder and he is stronger than what we think. Also he can throw few punches when you are landing over 50% of those punches. As long as he is accurate and scores and lands, his lack of bulk accumulation of punches will never be a weakness. A guy can throw 100 punches but only land 10 and Floyd throws 50 and lands 35, how can you really say he is losing?
Why do some people pick others to win against Floyd?

Don't be like SIN, you have too much potential. Don't you follow other fighters? You should become a fan of Klitschko, Dawson, Pavlik, and Cotto.Comment

I personally have never picked Floyd to lose but he lost to De La Hoya so shows you what I know :/Comment

thats one thing i noticed is that getting punched in the face by floyd must hurt, because people dont seem to just walk through his shots and then try to impose their will on him, there were times with mayweather stood right in front of DLH and DLH did nothing.Comment

I don't like HW, Dawson is cool but he fights too few in between like he is already a star. Pavlik is overrated just like Miranda was. Even though I must admit he is a better boxer than Miranda and more technical, but he won't be able to beat Taylor. Miranda can't box a lick and he landed quite frequently on pavlik's chin. Also Pavlik is just too slow in foot and hand. Taylor will be able to box circles around him. Cotto will most likely lose in a couple weeks, he is ok but he isn't an elite fighter. I am a little excited about those peterson bros and Berto though.Comment

I know, it happens every fight. i don't know if it is the speed or the fact that he gots some pop. Fact is, he got enough power to keep folk more than honest.Comment

Oh dear, yet another **** thread on NSB.
You know what, I joined this site to talk about boxing past and present, and now I rarely can be arsed wading through the stinking nappies in NSB to get to a thread where I might learn or contribute something.
Here's an idea (and one I will follow myself before anyone gets smart);
Don't reply to these threads, just let them rot. If you want to analyse Mayweather, or Hatton, or anyone else, do it in another thread.
Please.Comment
