I said that Taylor is not an inside fighter by any means(nor does manny teach his fighters to fight on inside much) and getting on the inside of Pavlik is gonna cost taylor a lot. And who gave you the idea that pavlik's hooks are plodding, he throws rather short punches, albeit they look awkward due to the length of his hands.
i wasnt talking about taylor, i just said, imo, that was the better way, but taylor cant fight inside so he will try to hurt pavlik with one two's before pavlik can get into firing range...

no, zertuche was landing uppercuts on pavlik fairly easy, he got tagged when pavlik had a little more distance to throw his hooks

Pavlik's got the goods to be more than just hype. I don't think he'll beat Taylor though, 'Bad Intentions' does just enough to win, and granted 'enough' will require more effort than his last fight, but will still reign victorious.

I'm not sold on Pavlic. I think he will be in some great battles, but its too early to tell just now good he is.

So yes he is hyped a bit more then he should be.

Taylor has been an utter disgrace in his last two fights and got some questionable decisions in the previous 3. But lets get this straight, Pavlik hasn't come close to mixing at Taylor's level. You have to love Pavlik's style but, like Miranda, he's going to be outboxed as he steps up.

I picked Pavlik over Miranda, but I don't think he's anything special really. Miranda was just THAT flawed and while Pavlik handled his business that night you could tell in the Green fight that when someone traded with Miranda he would crumble. I see this situation being a lot like the Miranda situation where everyone was in hysteria for him but then desserted his band wagon after he lost. Pavlik is a decent fighter and has an exciting style and I think he could capture a few belts but I don't think he will develop into anything special.

I got a UD or mid round KO for Taylor.
