I would say Wlad around round 9. He will pump the jab. Then keep stepping up the pressure. Then around 8 or 9 he will start dropping some bombs on Brewster.

I'm telling you guys, you're missing it. He will jump RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of Lamon's **** and end it before the closing bell of 3. This isn't the same little boy Wlad we were watching (and the vast majority of everybody on these forums was ridiculing) a few years ago. His head is on straight, he's well conditioned, and he's got a fire that wasn't even a little spark back then.

Our little boy is all growed up.

I predict a TKO win in mid rounds for Wlad... Brewster's going to eat lots of jabs and straight rights till the referee stops the bout... But I still think if Brewster hits Wlad, we might see an upset or some stolen rounds for Lamon...

We'll see a highly motivated Wlad for this one. I notice Wlad received a little less negativity on this and other websites after stopping Brock, and a bit less again after quickly defeating Austin. A decisive win over Brewster will not silence his critics completely, but it will quiet them still more. With each successive decisive win, more people will come to accept that Wlad is a great heavyweight.

He needs 7 more KO's for 50 - not many heavyweights had 50 or more KO's in their careers.

I don't think Sanders is worth the fight for Wlad anymore, he is so past his prime and out of shape that victory over him would be meaningless.

but any other non-unification fight would fail to add to wlads legacy any more than a rematch victory over sanders.

True. Sanders wasn't in bad shape his last fight. I've read he has financial problems, and a fight with Wlad would solve all that.

Unification would be the best case scenario, but I think Rahman, Holyfield and Ruiz would be good "name" opponents for Wlad's resume. His fighting up and comers like Povetkin and Dimitrenko would not have much meaning yet.

And the only motivation I have in seeing Wlad fight Ruiz, is to see "The Hugging Man" get KO'd early. Hopefully that'll send him into retirement.

And yes, Sanders would benefit from the match financially, but he's an old man now. I haven't seen him recently, but against Vitali, he looked in poor shape. The guy never trained hard, and was always gassed by the 6th or 7th. When he fought Rahman, he was beating the crap out of him until he ran out of gas. It's a shame he was so lazy. I think the guy was capable of beating Lewis, or just about any other heavyweight in his day.

Rahman would look sleepy as you say, but he punches extremely hard. He would probably get KOed by Wlad but he would have a chance of winning. Wlad is very similar to Lewis in some ways, and he KOed Lewis in their first fight.
